Do You Know of A New Resident That Just Moved To Cordell? The Chamber now has a service of welcoming new people to Cordell. We want to make them feel right at home with a welcome basket of goodies from Chamber Member Businesses and provide them with helpful information about the community. Our Administrator will meet with our new residents to answer any questions they may have and invite them to shop in our stores. Members can help by providing gifts for the basket. |

Yard of The Month is now Yard of The Week ! Get those lawns mowed and the leaves picked up because we may be taking pictures of your yard next. Here’s how it will work. The town will be divided into 4 sections. Then we will be driving around one of the four sections each week and taking pictures to find the yards that will be considered for “ Yard of The Week” award. If you are one of the winners, pictures will be posted on our website.
This event will be during May, June and July and open to Cordell residents only.
Winners will be determined by a Chamber Member that will view the nominated yards and decide which yard is the most unusual, unique, well kept, colorful or beautiful. There will be a different judge each week.
You may also nominate a yard by emailing us a photo or calling the Chamber office. FYI: The procedures for nominating and judging has changed to make more yards eligible and have a greater chance of winning. Ask for details. |

The Chamber Needs Volunteers For The Following:
1.) Help present awards and certificates for Biz of The Month, Ribbon Cuttings, etc and have your picture posted here and possibly in the Beacon. 2.) Help out at the Chamber office a few minutes a week. Every little bit helps and would be appreciated. 3.) Make Events a success by volunteering your time or expertise.

The Cordell Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors and Chamber membership would like to express our sincere gratitude to the City of Cordell employees. Their help and support over the years to the Chamber has been invaluable to our membership. At times these caring people have worked tirelessly by physically moving our office, providing security, volunteering their time, giving of themselves, giving materially, plus support and help in so many other ways. We also thank all the elected officials, businesses and individuals for their help and support. Without all of these dedicated people we may not be where we are today.
