The Cordell Chamber has brought back Yard of The Week.
Yes, you read it right. Now instead of only 3 yards (1 per summer month) we will now recognize the best, most unique and the most beautiful yard 4 times a month for a total of 12 yards. So, pick up those leaves and mow that lawn. Chamber members will be driving around town and taking pictures to submit for Yard of The Week award. You may also nominate a yard by emailing us a photo or calling the Chamber office. FYI: The procedures for nominating and judging has changed to make more yards eligible and have a greater chance of winning. Ask for details.
Event will be held in May - June - July and open to Cordell residents only.
The winners will receive a framed certificate and have their photos posted on this website for all the world to see. |

Come join us on the 2nd Monday of every Month for a “Networking Secession”.
These meeting are casual in nature and intended to bring people together. We invite Merchants, Chamber Members, Non-Chamber Members, Employees and anyone else wishing to attend. We can exchange ideas on how to bring more customers to our doors, offer help to others whenever we can, discussing new ways to conduct business and generally visit and compare notes.
As a group, we can accomplish much more than individually.

Princess / Queen Pageant October 9th, 2010 Pumpkin Festival
Divisions: Infants – 12 years old - “Princess” 13 – 18 years old - “Queen”
When: October 9, 2010 – Pumpkin Festival
Where: Cordell Oklahoma, Downtown Square
One winner and one runner-up will be chosen for each division.
Princess winner will receive a sash, crown, $50.00 in Chamber Bucks, and will be featured in next years Pumpkin Festival parade. She will also be featured as Sugar Plum Gift Shop’s “Sugar Plum Cutie”.
Queen winner will receive a sash, crown, $50.00 in Chamber Bucks, and will be featured in next years Pumpkin Festival parade. She will also be featured in civic events such as ribbon cutting ceremonies, introducing the Mayor, and throwing the first pitch at local ball games.

Welcome To The Parade,
Fall is fast coming upon us which means that it is nearing time for this year’s Cordell Pumpkin Festival. We are planning this year’s Pumpkin Festival parade to be held on October 9, 2010 and are seeking entries into the parade.
We would like to invite your organization to join in the fun and participate in our parade. Participation is free and provides exposure for your group to a large number of spectators. The parade includes several categories that will be judged and the best entries will be awarded prizes in the form of a framed certificate along with a cash prize in Cordell Chamber of Commerce Chamber Bucks.
The Cordell Pumpkin Festival, now in its 23rd year, is one of the oldest town wide festivals in Western Oklahoma! Our goal is to make this event bigger and better every year and to make our festival into one of Oklahoma’s premier one day events.
